1997 - 2003

This series run in parallel with the series Che Pibe, here I also care about color, but in this case the idea is to work only with saturated complementary hues.

The theme seems traditionalist. Women sweeping. Women from the neighborhood that carry out the simple task of sweeping.

But these women are dressed in their nightgown, with their hair tousled, fighting with the broom, angry, eroticized, nervous.

These women are disembarking from what it is to be a stay-at-home mom. Their actions, positions, transparent cloths showing their torso, buttocks are disturbing, they all seem to offend the observers’ eyes. They are robust, rough, regular women, the kind no one looks at. Discomfort and empowerment is what the series reveals.
